A former WWE Women's Champion has no desire to return to her old stomping grounds.

Gail Kim recently addressed whether she has any plans to work with the Stamford-based promotion again.

The 48-year-old star has been heavily linked with a WWE return since being let go by TNA earlier this year. Kim's second stint with the promotion lasted 14 years, where she worked both as a wrestler and producer.

She also served as the Head of Talent Relations and worked closely with the Knockouts Division, which she helped put on the map.

Following her departure, Gail Kim was reportedly backstage for NXT shows, but no deal was struck between the two parties at the time. According to Fightful Select, WWE had interest in bringing her on board.

During a recent Q&A, Gail Kim revealed that she declined the offer to return to the Stamford-based promotion.

"I had to decline the offer unfortunately…. Sucks but had to."

Does former WWE Superstar Gail Kim have one more match in her?

In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Gail Kim didn't completely rule out the idea of one more match.

However, she made it clear that she wouldn't want to tarnish her legacy.

"I guess, I would say never say never, but it would have been something really, really special. For me to get conditioned for a full match, I don't think people realize how hard it is to train for the cardio of a professional wrestling match... Also, the last thing, which is the more important thing, I care about my legacy. I care about my body of work that I left behind and what fans remember of me. If I'm coming out of retirement, this is going to be the last thing they remember"

Kim last wrestled at IMPACT's 1000th episode, where she joined forces with Awesome Kong, Mickie James, Jordynne Grace, and Naomi to beat Angelina Love, Deonna Purrazzo, Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans, and Gisele Shaw in a ten-person tag team match.

She hasn't competed inside a WWE ring in over a decade. Will she come out of retirement at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia next year? Only time will tell.
