Former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade of Brazil ran completely out of gas in his world title defeat to ‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu of Mongolia in the main event at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video.

The 28-year-old had Baatarkhuu hurt early in the first round, and unloaded nearly his entire clip. But ‘The Tormentor’ proved to be tougher than Andrade had expected and slowly got even stronger as the bout progressed.

In the fourth round, Baatarkhuu choked out an exhausted Andrade to capture the ONE bantamweight MMA world title.

Taking to Instagram to address his defeat, Andrade talked about his biggest tactical mistakes in that fight.

‘Wonder Boy’ said:

“Even after he was knocked down, I should have been more patient because he was a really tough guy, but I was impatient. Then, I ended up paying the price when it came to the end. By the third or fourth round, I was already quite tired.”

Needless to say, Andrade is already hard at work, trying to patch up the holes in his game for when the two eventually meet in a rematch.
