Former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion ‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade of Brazil knows where he went wrong against ‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu of Mongolia.

The two locked horns in the main event at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video earlier this month, and the 28-year-old Fortaleza native lost via fourth-round rear-naked choke submission.

Taking to Instagram to address his defeat, Andrade says the loss was one hundred percent his fault.

‘Wonder Boy’ said:

“Enkh really is a really tough guy. I already knew this before the fight took place. I was already prepared for this. But when I applied the knockdowns, I ended up being impatient. I lost a little patience.”

Needless to say, Andrade will be looking to get his belt back in the near future, and is seeking a rematch with the Physical: Asia finalist.

‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade is gracious in both victory and defeat, and he knows when to give credit where it’s due.

After his loss to ‘The Tormentor’ Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu at ONE Fight Night 38 on Prime Video, Andrade praised Baatarkhuu’s toughness and hailed him as the rightful new ruler.

‘Wonder Boy’ said:

“So, I’m recording this video here to talk a little bit about what happened in the last fight. Unfortunately, the positive result did not come, and I’m not recording this video here to give excuses. Really, that night, Enkh was the better fighter, and he deserves to be the new champion.”

Andrade added:

“I also want to thank everyone, regardless of the result, who have sent positive messages, support messages. Also, thank you to the Mongolian fans, who have been quite respectful, as Enkh also is. He was a very respectful guy, and the respect is mutual.”
