Mike Tyson and Conor McGregor's recent link-up in Dublin sparked a buzz in the combat sports world, particularly after a clip surfaced of the former UFC two-division champion offering boxing tips to the legendary pugilist. Now, 'Iron Mike' has offered his take on the incident.

Earlier this month, McGregor hosted Tyson at his Black Forge Inn, where they shared a meal and posed for pictures. In a now-viral clip, 'The Notorious' can be seen demonstrating footwork and defensive maneuvers as the former heavyweight champion boxer watches in genuine amusement.

During a recent appearance on The Paul Castronovo Show, Tyson was quizzed by the hosts about the clip and what boxing tips McGregor had for him. 'Iron Mike' wasted no time responding:

"Man, this guy is so, I want to say charismatic, but no, he is explosive, man. His energy is... He is an incredible person, man. He's beautiful, and very rarely have I met people like him. It's too much energy. There is just energy in his eyebrows. There is just energy everywhere."

While Tyson's storied career appeared to end with his retirement loss to Kevin McBride in 2005, he returned in 2024 to face YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, ultimately losing via unanimous decision.

Tyson is set to return to the ring against fellow pugilistic legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition boxing bout scheduled for March 2026 in Africa. While the official broadcaster for the bout has yet to be confirmed, Netflix is reportedly the frontrunner.

McGregor, meanwhile, has been out of action since his infamous leg break in 2021, with attempts at a return foiled by subsequent injuries. The Irishman is now hoping to return on the UFC White House card scheduled for June 2026.
