A 41-year-old AEW star discussed a major condition he has been facing recently. The past couple of years have been tough for Anthony Henry. As the Workhorsemen were climbing to the top, he suffered a broken jaw in March 2024. Moreover, he was released the next month. After fans stood behind the star, Tony Khan agreed to sign him back.
However, in October 2024, Anthony Henry suffered a torn bicep. After being sidelined for almost an entire year, he finally returned to the ring in 2025. He mostly wrestles on ROH and occasionally on Collision. He recently revealed yet another condition he is suffering from.
Anthony Henry recently took to Instagram and revealed that he is suffering from Heterotopic Ossification, where his palm can make limited movements. This condition manifested due to his bicep injury. The good news is that he can still wrestle, and doctors claim that the condition is curable.
"Heterotopic ossification. That is the condition I have stemming from my initial biceps tear from September 2024. I cannot turn my arm over to palms up (supination) or turn it fully palms down (pronation). Yes, I can live life, but not like a normal person really. Yes, I can wrestle, but there are times where it causes issues. All of that to say I saw a doctor today that finally is going to fix this s***. I couldn't be happier about that. Soon!" he wrote.AEW star Anthony Henry has been absent for over a month
The 41-year-old star's last appearance in AEW was at Collision in September. He has been the mainstay of the Ring of Honor promotion. He and JD Drake put on top-notch matches for the crowd.
Anthony Henry's last match in ROH took place against Shane Taylor Promotion back on October 8. It seems like he might have taken some time off for his diagnosis.
It remains to be seen when the AEW star's condition will be cured.
