How To Watch Savannah Guthrie’s Full Interview With Hoda: ‘Today’ Show Time + Streaming Options

1 hour ago 2

Savannah Guthrie‘s absence from The Today Show after her mother’s disappearance has been palpable, to say the least. Now, the anchor will return to the NBC flagship she’s hosted for 15 years years for her first on-camera interview to open up about the ongoing investigation and her unwavering faith.

Guthrie recently sat down with her longtime friend and colleague Hoda Kotb for a two-part interview that will air on The Today Show this week. This will mark Guthrie’s first time appearing on The Today Show since her mother Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped from her home in Arizona in January.

Kotb shared a clip from the interview during Wednesday’s (March 25) broadcast, which anchor Craig Melvin noted marked 53 days since Nancy’s kidnapping.

“As you can imagine, it was a really emotional conversation,” Kotb confessed during the broadcast.

The clip aired on Today showed Savannah once again pleading with viewers for more information regarding her mother’s unsolved disappearance. “Someone needs to do the right thing,” Guthrie said. “We are in agony. It is unbearable.”

Through tears, Guthrie continued, “And to think of what she went through, I wake up every night, in the middle of the night, every night. And in the darkness, I imagine her terror and it is unthinkable but those thoughts demand to be thought and I will not hide my face.”

Reports say Savannah’s unexpected interview could be teeing up her imminent return to The Today Show. Kotb, who retired from her full-time responsibilities at NBC in 2025, has been filling in for Guthrie amid her ongoing absence.

Here is everything you need to know about how to watch the Savannah Guthrie interview with Hoda Kotb.
