The pinnacle of high school sports are the state championships. As the school year comes to a close, just a few more sports are wrapping up their title runs.
Baseball is one of those sports, with Alabama high schools competing for state championships across seven different classes. The tournaments will be narrowed down to 14 teams with seven set to be victorious in due time.
Championship series action begins Monday, May 12 and runs until Friday, May 16. Game 1 of each championship series will take place at Choccolocco Park in Oxford. Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) will be at Jacksonville State.
