Booker T wants fans to calm down after a popular star lost to John Cena recently. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer believes this star is going to be alright, and his defeat at the hands of The GOAT won't affect his rise to superstardom.

On Monday's episode of RAW in Boston, Cena finally won the Intercontinental Championship to become a Grand Slam Champion. He defeated Dominik Mysterio, who couldn't put his money where his mouth was.

Some people expressed concern about Dominik's future, but Booker T isn't worried at all. He explained on the latest edition of his Hall of Fame podcast that "Dirty" Dom is on the right track to become one of the biggest stars in WWE.

"People wonder what's gonna happen with Dom. I don't think people need to worry about what’s gonna happen with Dominik Mysterio. The guy's on a trajectory I've never seen before in this business. Dominik Mysterio, the way he has taken that role, taken that mantle and ran with it. Dominik is in his own lane. Nobody can do what he does," Booker said.

Booker T reacts to John Cena's Intercontinental Championship win

In the same episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T had nothing bad to say about John Cena's win over Dominik Mysterio. He even thought that Cena defending his Intercontinental Championship in his last match is like a perfect ending to his legendary career.

"John Cena winning it, to set up this retirement (match), it’s perfect. It’s perfect, you know what I mean? Somebody’s gonna get that shot. That person has a chance to walk out the new champion and then beating John Cena. The story is just too good," Booker said.

Cena will face the winner of The Last Time Is Now tournament at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
