Trial Rank in Duet Night Abyss determines a player's progression the game. Leveling this up in your account is essential for unlocking most of the endgame features, items, and most importantly, gear scores. Having a high Trial Rank ensures a fully unlocked account, giving players access to all the endgame modes for farming.

However, do note that the path to a higher Trial Rank can be done in a slower pace, as the game doesn't make your life any easier. But, this article will help you speed through the process if you are looking to put several hours in Duet Night Abyss, and reach the endgame faster.

All the ways to increase your Trial Rank in Duet Night Abyss

Trial Rank in Duet Night Abyss is similar to your account level, like Mastery Rank in Warframe or the Adventurer Rank in Genshin Impact. Increasing your account rank provides access to higher character and weapon levels, alongside Legendary Demon Wedge Secret Letters.

As mentioned, there's isn't a rush method to reach the maximum Trial cap, as this game is meant to be taken slowly, day by day. However, for anyone looking to speedrun to the endgame as fast as possible, it can be done with a few steps. Having 65 Trial rank also grants you a 300% boost to your character's ATK, DEF, HP, and Shield.

To start off, open your journal and follow along the Main Story quest. It should be the gold-plated objective at the very top. Finishing all the story quests until the end of 1.0 should boost your Trial Rank to 35-40. Secondly, there are the side missions found in the open world, especially the Icelake main town.

The side missions can be identified by the white diamond icon on top of an NPC. Speak with them, and then accept the mission by either simply picking up a dialogue, or by doing a perception check via dices. Complete enough quests, and you should be somewhere near Rank 40-42.

Once you are done with all the available quests, now comes the main grind for the EXP, which is within the Combat section of the Menu, especially the Noctoyager Manual. This is the place where you can collect different Demon Wedges by running certain objectives.

Select any one objective according to your suitable level, and run the mission to get Demon Wedge. For every Demon Wedge you collect for the first time, you get more EXP.

Furthermore, after collecting the Demon Wedges, go to the "Demon Wedge Casket" via your Menu, and redeem any objectives that may have been conmpleted upon collecting the Demon Wedges.

Other miscelleneous sources for Trial EXP includes character and weapon ascensions, obtaining new characters and weapons, daily memo missions, and opening up chests in the open world.
