Iceite can be obtained by mining Icy Rocks, Ice Crystals, and Icy Boulders in Frostspire Expanse. When striking these rocks with a Pickaxe, you have a one in 9,898 chance to acquire this material. As of this writing, Iceite has the lowest drop rate out of any Ore in the game.

Since Frostspire Expanse is locked behind a level 70 requirement, by extension, getting Iceite requires you to reach level 70 or higher. Upon meeting this requirement, you can access Frostspire Expanse through the Teleporter.

When used to make a weapon, Iceite applies a bluish tint to the crafted armament and applies a unique trait. With its trait, the crafted weapon has a 25% chance to freeze the attacked enemy for two seconds with each hit. If activated, this trait enters a 12-second cooldown period, which prevents it from chaining freezes with back-to-back hits. Naturally, this makes it an immensely powerful and valuable Ore.
