Gigantamax Garbodor in Pokemon GO debuts on November 1, 2025, as part of the Max Battle Day event. It will be available from 2 to 5 pm local time in 6-star Max Battles across Power Spots near you. The creature is a mono-Poison-type and knows the signature poison-type G-Max move G-Max Malodor.

6-star Max Battles

Gigantamax Garbodor will be featured in 6-star Max Battles on Saturday, November 1, 2025. The creature will take over all Power Spots near you over a three-hour period, lasting from 2 pm to 5 pm local time.

It will cost 800 MP to enter the battle. While this might seem like a steep price, you can rest assured that the cost will only be deducted if you come out victorious. You can enter the battle alongside 39 other trainers, working in groups of four. However, it should be noted that G-Max Garbodor can be defeated by 2–4 strong trainers working together.

Trade

If you are unable to get G-Max Garbodor on your own, you can ask a friend to trade you one. However, you should note that unlike trading regular Dynamax Garbodor, this will count as a Special Trade, irrespective of whether you have the creature registered on your Pokedex.

Can Gigantamax Garbodor be shiny in Pokemon GO?

Yes, it is possible to find Shiny Gigantamax Garbodor in Pokemon GO. However, its shiny rate will not be boosted, and the base 1-in-512 odds will apply.
