Drew McIntyre sent a 3-word message after he and Cody Rhodes agreed to another title match. The two will cross paths in a Three Stages of Hell Match.

Rhodes, who became the new Undisputed WWE Champion at SummerSlam by defeating John Cena, has been feuding with McIntyre for months. The American Nightmare has also defended his title on a few occasions against his arch-rival, but the issues between the two men are far from over.

McIntyre continued taking digs at Rhodes, even after the cameras stopped filming. On social media, he claimed to feel alive after attacking the Undisputed WWE Champion.

"I feel alive." wrote McIntyre.

Sam Roberts wants to see Drew McIntyre dethrone Cody Rhodes

Sam Roberts has expressed his interest in seeing Drew McIntyre win the Undisputed WWE Championship and dethrone Cody Rhodes. McIntyre has failed to beat Rhodes more than once, but has found himself yet another opportunity to win the big one.

Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts had this to say regarding Rhodes' title reign:

"That’s why I was saying I want to see Drew McIntyre win the title. Even if it’s just like a quick switch, even if it’s not like a long run, giving Drew McIntyre the title and having Cody Rhodes beat him back for it would be a good thing,"

McIntyre's last reign as a World Champion in WWE was back at WrestleMania XL when he defeated Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Championship. However, he was dethroned within seconds, with Damian Priest cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and becoming champion after McIntyre was taken out by CM Punk.

McIntyre unsuccessfully challenged for the World Heavyweight Championship more than once after he was dethroned by Priest. He also came close to winning the title in his native country, but CM Punk didn't let him.
