This World Boss lurks south of Witherwilds, right along the road that leads up toward Moonveil Mountain and the Peace Bell Tower.

It’s hard to miss once you enter the open clearing along the path; the deity sits near the offering place.

How to beat Earth Fiend Diety in Where Winds Meet

Earth Fiend Diety’s has claws, and his deadliest move is a large-area attack that drags you inward while it charges a massive burst hit. Getting caught without a response usually means instant defeat. The moment you see the pull start, use Cloud Steps.

In normal exploration it’s a mobility tool, but in combat it becomes an aggressive leap that lands on the enemy’s head. Against this boss, that jump interrupts the AoE, knocking the Earth Fiend Diety over for a few seconds and completely canceling the burst.

The boss will sometimes curl up and roll around the arena, repeatedly ramming into you. This move stacks damage quickly, but every hit is parryable. If you manage to time multiple parries in a row, you’ll shred its Qi gauge and open it up for counters.

Expect sudden leaps and underground ambushes

Most of the fight revolves around spacing and awareness:

• The boss likes to lunge forward with its claws, closing distance faster than it seems.
• It also burrows underground, then erupts right underneath you with almost no warning.

These two patterns mean you need clean dodge timing and confident parries. The boss telegraphs with sharp body movements before each leap, so keep your camera centered on it and don’t overcommit to long combo strings.

Occasionally the boss envelopes itself inside a giant toad spirit and tries to squash you. Right before the impact, the timing window opens, so parry just before it hits the ground for a clean deflection.
