ARC Raiders: Reduced to Rubble quest guide

Objective overview

As mentioned above, Reduced to Rubble is available from Shani, who is a trader in Speranza and an expert on ARC machines. These are the objectives that you will come across while pursuing this mission:

• Take a photo of the Collapsed Highway
• Go to the Broken Earth
• Follow the trail of destruction through the Broken Earth
• Investigate the unknown ARC machines

Upon accepting the quest, you are granted a Binocular. However, this gadget in ARC Raiders is not required to complete this mission. It is a spotting tool that can be used to survey across long ranges.

How to complete

1) Take a photo of the Collapsed Highway in The Blue Gate

This mission will take you to The Blue Gate map, where you must head south-west and locate the Highway Collapse. Once you spot the broken bridge, head to the exact spot marked on the map below.

When you reach the marked spot in the forest, a yellow interact button will prompt you to take a photo of the ruined bridge. This completes the first objective in Reduced to Rubble quest and reveals the next task.

2) Head toward Broken Earth

Your next task is to head east and reach the Broken Earth Point of Interest (POI). This is located south of Maintenance Bunker and northeast of Ancient Fort in The Blue Gate map. To complete the second objective, simply walk along this POI.

Do note that Bombardiers, Rocketeers, and Leapers might be present close to the Ruined Homestead when you run towards Broken Earth from Highway Collapse.

3) Follow the trail of destruction through the Broken Earth

After reaching this POI, you will notice massive fissures in the ground. Get down inside these tracks and keep heading east. You will soon spot a large ARC husk in the distance. While travelling through the fissures of Broken Earth, the third objective will be completed.

4) Investigate the massive ARC husk

The ARC husk you spotted is the next location you must head to. The fourth and final objective in Reduced to Rubble quest in ARC Raiders requires you to gather more information about these giant, unknown machines. To do this, reach the husk and move towards its core. You will spot a yellow interact button marked "Investigate".

After this interaction, head north towards the Maintenance Bunker POI to find the Overlook Airshaft. This extraction point may have heavy ARC patrol in the form of Wasps and Hornets. Use the small building close to the Airshaft to hide from them until the gates open up.

After completing the second introductory quest for The Blue Gate, head back down to Speranza and talk to Shani to acquire the following rewards:

• 1x Zipline
• 3x Barricade Kit
• 3x Door Blocker

These gadgets prove their worth during topside ventures. The Door Blocker and Barricade Kit can be used in close quarters to delay pursuers or seek refuge from gunshots. The Zipline, on the other hand, is a useful traversal tool that opens up creative new pathways.
