When using a desktop:

  • Step 1: Once you're logged in to your account on X, click on "More" on the left-hand side menu.
  • Step 2: Select "Settings and Privacy."
  • Step 3: From the "Your Account" menu, tap "Account Information."
  • Step 4: Enter your password to verify your identity.
  • Step 5: Select "Country" to view your current settings.

When using the X app:

  • Step 1: Launch the X app.
  • Step 2: Tap the profile icon in the top-left corner.
  • Step 3: Select "Settings and Privacy."
  • Step 4: Click on Account.
  • Step 5: Tap Account Information.
  • Step 6: Select "Country" to view your current settings.

When you access X, the platform often collects information about your location to determine your country and restrict content in compliance with local laws.
