At the 2025 Met Gala, Sofia Richie exclusively told E! how having her husband Elliot Grainge and daughter Eloise as a support system back home has made attending the May 5 event extra special.

Sofia Richie has endless love for becoming a mom.
While stepping out for the 2025 Met Gala on May 5, the model shared how welcoming her daughter Eloise, 11 months, with her husband Elliot Grainge has changed the way she feels about attending the annual fashion event—for the better. (For every star who stepped out at the 2025 Met Gala, click here.)
"I know my husband and my daughter are at home watching me on TV," Sofia exclusively told E!'s Zuri Hall at the 2025 Met Gala, "and that warms my heart."
And the 26-year-old joked that she's confident Eloise will understand what unfolds at this year's haute couture affair, which was led by co-chairs Anna Wintour, Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton and A$AP Rocky, as well as honorary co-chair LeBron James.
"Even though she's 1 years old," Sofia quipped, "I like to think she knows what's happening."
And Sofia's family will certainly be impressed when they see her look on TV. After all, the model stole the spotlight in a floor-length, short-sleeved satin white gown designed by Tommy Hilfiger that featured an open back and giant bow train.
Plus, to top of her fitted ensemble, which tied into 2025's "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" theme, Sofia wore her hair in her signature slicked-back bun and rocked simple diamond jewelry.

"I had so much fun kind of stepping out of my comfort zone," Sofia told E! of the ensemble. "I'm feeling fantastic."
For the Nude Stix creative director, welcoming her daughter has also helped her get back to her old fashion habits.
‘When I was pregnant my style changed completely so that was an adjustment and something that I had to get creative with," she told Elle in an interview published March 4. "It’s hard to dress a changing body."
Sofia added, "I feel like I’m back to where I was [style wise] before I was pregnant."
