Matthew Stafford didn’t have his best game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night.
Stafford threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw three interceptions during L.A.’s 27-24 upset loss. Stafford had a couple of uncharacteristic throws in the contest and ultimately he couldn’t lead the Rams to victory in their penultimate game of the regular season.
Stafford still managed to make some NFL history in the game though. With his passing production against Atlanta, Stafford moved past Pittsburgh Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger for the sixth-most regular season passing yards in league history. Big Ben compiled 64,088 passing yards over the course of his career. Stafford now has 64,257, and counting.
