The Milwaukee Brewers are up 3-1 in the 2026 World Series after losing to the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 4 of the series. But they're still in the driver's seat for the series, and they have a real chance of winning it all this year.

Plenty of players are reason why they're here, including Aaron Ashby and William Contreras, but maybe the most impressive player on this Brewers' squad is 22-year-old Jackson Chourio.

After another two-hit game in the World Series, Chourio has made MLB history that only Babe Ruth has accomplished. As Sarah Langs shared, Chourio's 10 hits in the World Series through four games tie Ruth's MLB record.

Jackson Chourio ties Babe Ruth's World Series record

"Jackson Chourio's 10 hits are tied for most in the first 4 games of a World Series... With 1928 Babe Ruth," Langs shared on Twitter/x.

Throughout MLB history, in all of the World Series ever played, there are only two players who can say that they have had 10 hits in the first four games of the series.

One of those players is MLB legend and Hall of Famer Babe Ruth, one of the greatest players in sports history. The other? 22-year-old Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio.

He's putting together an all-time postseason resume to begin his MLB career, and this incredible fact might be one of the more impressive of his time in the Majors so far.

But that's not the only history that Chourio made in the World Series with his two-hit game in Game 4 of the World Series.

He now holds the record for most postseason hits before turning 23, with 31 hits in 24 games, compared with Andruw Jones's 30 hits in 45 games, according to Langs.

But maybe more impressive is the company he's joined with his multi-hit games in the World Series so far.

As @jayhaykid shared on Twitter/x, Chourio joins Ruth in 1928, Lou Gehrig in 1932, and Johnny Bench in 1976 as the only players with multiple hits in every World Series game.

Chourio is putting together one of the most impressive playoff and World Series performances in MLB history. His only real comparison is Babe Ruth, which shows just how incredible what Chourio's doing is.
