As he stood at the 16th tee at Colonial Country Club Thursday evening, Brandt Snedeker was 2-over par with just three holes remaining in his opening round of the Charles Schwab Challenge. He needed a spark and found it immediately, making an ace from 181 yards in slam-dunk fashion:
— PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) May 29, 2026With the help of his ace, Snedeker shot a 3-under 32 on the back nine, but four bogeys overall and a 3-over 38 on the front nine resulted in an even-par 70 for the day. He followed up that 70 on Thursday with a two-under 68 on Friday to make the cut on the number at two-under overall.
The 45-year-old started his season with four straight missed cuts, but returned to the winners' circle earlier this May at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic for his first Tour victory since 2018.
