"Hottest Free Agent" sends a warning to Cody Rhodes on WWE SmackDown

The "hottest free agent" just confronted Cody Rhodes on WWE SmackDown. He issued a warning to the American Nightmare.

Trick Williams has been one of the top stars on the NXT roster for several years. He won the NXT Championship and then went to TNA, where he won the World Title. After spending years in the black and silver brand, his time to move up to the main roster has come.

Therefore, tonight on WWE SmackDown, Trick Williams was in Nick Aldis' office and was trying to get him to make a deal to bring him to the blue brand. Cody Rhodes interrupted them and asked for the room. Trick left the room before returning moments later. The former NXT Champion called himself the "hottest free agent" and said that if Nick Aldis makes the right decision, then Cody needs to hold onto his title really tight.

“You’re talking to an Iron Survivor winner, North American Champ, two-time NXT Champ, former TNA....excuse me, Trick NA Champ. I’m the hottest free agent in the game. If Nick makes the right decision, better be holding onto that title real tight.”

Cody Rhodes has been frustrated during SmackDown tonight

Ever since Drew McIntyre attacked Cody Rhodes in his tour bus, the American Nightmare has been trying to get his hands on the Scottish Psychopath. Last week, when Nick Aldis went to Drew McIntyre's house to get him to return to SmackDown, Cody showed up and brawled with his longtime rival. As part of his agreement with Nick, Drew will get the chance to pick the stipulation for his title match against Cody. Additionally, Cody can't lay a finger on Drew, or he will be stripped of his title.

Therefore, Cody has been visibly frustrated on SmackDown as he has been waiting the entire night to hear what stipulation Drew McIntyre picks for their title match. However, the Scottish Warrior has kept everyone in the dark.

It remains to be seen what stipulation Drew will pick for his match against Cody.
