Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo and four-time WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson are one of the biggest power couples in basketball. However, that didn't stop New York Knicks color commentator and Hall of Famer Walt Frazier from taking a shot at Adebayo following an airball.

Four minutes into the Knicks-Heat game on Saturday, Miami pushed the basketball to make a quick basket as part of their new offense under coach Erik Spoelstra. Adebayo was wide open from beyond the arc, so he didn't hesitate to pull up. However, his shot only made contact with the net and was way off.

That's when "Clyde" mocked his relationship with Wilson, urging the Heat star to get shooting lessons with the three-time WNBA champion.

"Maybe his girlfriend can help him with his shooting," Frazier said.

Walt Frazier was obviously taking a dig at Bam Adebayo for the airball, which wasn't surprising since he's rooting for the New York Knicks. Frazier wasn't technically wrong, based on Adebayo's shooting percentage from beyond the arc this season.

Due to Erik Spoelstra's new offense, Adebayo is taking a career-high 4.5 shots from three this season. He's only shooting 32.0% from deep, while his career shooting percentage from there is lower at 31.5%.

On the other hand, A'ja Wilson is a career 36.5% shooter from beyond the arc. But to be fair to Adebayo, Wilson doesn't shoot too many threes. She did attempt 1.5 shots from 3-point range last season and shot 42.4% all year long.

While Bam Adebayo and A'ja Wilson became an item at last year's Paris Olympics, the couple revealed in an interview with Time Magazine that they began dating four years ago.

Wilson and Adebayo also hinted that they could be planning a wedding soon, though the Las Vegas Aces star wants to know when his boyfriend is going to propose. The reigning four-time WNBA MVP even shared that she wants to start a family with Adebayo.

"That is always a dream," Wilson said. "This is my life partner. Honestly, what on earth was my world before you? That's how much he's impacted my life, my family's life."

Wilson has already accomplished everything in her career, and it's just about adding to her legacy as the potential GOAT of the WNBA. Adebayo, on the other hand, is looking to help the Heat win their first NBA title since 2013.
