The High Tyrant Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2 is a new Blaster weapon from the Equilibrium Dungeon. It fires like a Rapid Fire Pulse Rifle, and shoots out Void damage to enemies. Players will find the magazine size of these Heat gear pieces to be much bigger than standard weapons, as the amount of generated heat per burst directly impacts the amount of ammo that can be fired at once.

Here is a list of perks recommended on the High Tyrant Pulse Rifle for PvE:

  • Arrowhead Brake for reduced vertical recoil and increased Handling.
  • Overclocked Heatsink for increased damage and cooling efficiency.
  • Repulsor Brace for getting an overshield after defeating a target with Void debuff.
  • Demoralize for spreading a weakening buff around a target defeated with a precision blow.

You can get Destabilizing Rounds as an alternative for more powerful clearing, alongside Demolitionist for Grenade energy. Master of Arms in the fourth column for damage is also recommended, alongside Withering Gaze for weakening any target just by aiming at them.

  • Headseeker for increased precision damage aftre landing body shots on a target.

You can also get Master of Arms as another damage option in PvP, alongside Rapid Hit for increased Stability and reload speed with precision hits.

The High Tyrant Void Pulse Rifle drops from the Equilibrium Dungeon, specifically from the final encounter, Dredgen Sere boss fight. Once unlocked in Collections, there is a chance for the weapon to drop from the Dungeon's secret chests as well.
