World Cup fever has arrived in the United States for the 2026 edition of FIFA's showcase event, and the USA is one of the co-hosts of the tournament, along with Canada and Mexico.
The U.S. men's national team gets its action rolling on Friday night against Paraguay. It'll be the first time the USMNT plays a World Cup game on home soil since 1994.
People around the country will be tuning in to watch the game, which will be broadcast on Fox.
There's just a chance, based on all the advertising that Fox has already done, that people will be turning to the channel a bit early.
Fox has been heavily advertising their pregame show, which is slated to be three hours on Friday evening before kickoff.
To avoid that trouble, we've got the real details here.

What time does USA vs. Paraguay World Cup game actually start?
The kickoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET, which is 6 p.m. PT.
The game is being played in Los Angeles, so it will be a 6 p.m. local kickoff there.
Matches started close to on time on the opening day of the World Cup -- they seem to have the pregame festivities pretty synced up with the actual game schedule so as not to have huge delays.
Fox pregame show confusion
The problem for many watching on Fox is that the network spent much of Thursday and Friday noting its 6 p.m. ET "coverage start" time.
That's when the pregame show begins, but it's three hours before actual kickoff.
To watch the game itself, and not the pregame hubbub, just have your TV turned to Fox by 9 p.m. ET.
