I don’t remember exactly when or why, but sometime over the last decade, I acquired a very soft blanket from a table of free swag at the office of one of my former jobs.
When I brought it home, my cat, Miley, instantly claimed it as his own and has since slept on it most nights. The blanket doesn’t appear to come from a brand known for bedding…it was made to be promo merch for the Starz series “Outlander.”
It has become a running joke in my apartment that “Outlander” is Miley’s favorite show and he doesn’t miss an episode. We had to sit him down and break the news that the series is coming to an end. Nevertheless, he’s thrilled that Jamie and Claire are back for one last historical hurrah.
At the end of the eighth and final season, premiering on March 6, fans like Miley will say goodbye to the central couple at the heart of the popular series.
