Coming into week 17, Brady Cook’s Gang Green are a lowly 3-12 while Drake Maye’s 12-3 Pats are tied with the Broncos for the best record in the AFC.

Today, they’ll meet at 1 p.m. ET, with different aspirations. New York hope to knock a playoff contender down a peg in their last home game of the year while New England looks to improve upon their already impressive 2025 and further cement their chances at home-field advantage throughout the postseason.

“I think [Cook] gives us the best chance to win, but we also want to evaluate where he is at, and that is a lot of guys on this roster.” Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said in a press conference. He wouldn’t be in there if he didn’t give us a chance to win games.”

Through his first three games, the 24-year-old Cook has completed 58 of 98 passes for 527 yards and one touchdown against six interceptions.

Prior to this matchup, New York played New England on Nov. 13; the Patriots took the lead in the second quarter and never looked back. They won 27-14.
