Andrew Tate suffered a split decision loss to Chase DeMoor in his Misfits Boxing debut. The 39-year-old entered the bout after a long absence from combat sports, and the limitations showed as the fight progressed.
Shortly after the loss, Tristan Tate addressed the performance with a candid assessment of his brother’s current level. He acknowledged that Andrew is no longer the same fighter he was in kickboxing. He took to X to reflect on the loss and wrote:
"My brother is twice the man he was 10 years ago. But he’s not the same fighter. He conquered kickboxing as a younger man, he’s never been afraid to test himself, never afraid to take on new challenges, and I love and respect him for it. It’s been a tough few years for us both. Onto bigger and newer challenges. Plenty of new lands to conquer."Check out Tristan Tate's comments below:

Tate started with control early in the fight, landing clean jabs and managing distance in the opening rounds. DeMoor remained patient and leaned on his size and pressure.
As the rounds wore on, Tate’s movement slowed, and his work rate dropped. DeMoor closed the distance more consistently and began to win the exchanges, particularly in the second half of the fight.
By the final round, the deficit was clear. Tate was struggling to sustain offense while DeMoor pushed the pace and finished stronger. The judges scored the contest in favor of DeMoor, who retained the Misfits heavyweight boxing title.
Following the loss, Andrew Tate claimed that ring rust and age were the reasons why he couldn't get the win against DeMoor. However, he congratulated his opponent and claimed that he was "happy for him" despite the result. As for his return to action, the 39-year-old claimed that he will spend some time dissecting the fight before making a decision.
