The Hawks have missed out on a few opportunities to trade for players they previously were reported to have interest in.
With the trade deadline quickly approaching, they'll look to pivot to other trade targets, with one 6-foot-10 center as a potential target.
What 6-foot-10 shot-blocking machine are the Hawks interested in?
According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Hawks have interest in Mavericks' center Daniel Gafford.
The Hawks seemed to be in the Anthony Davis sweepstakes at one point, but will have to pivot to a different Maverick after Davis was traded to the Wizards on Wednesday.

Gafford is under contract through the 2028-29 NBA season, and he's set to make between $14-19 million over the next few seasons.
If he is traded during this deadline, it would be the second time in the last three seasons that Gafford gets moved at the trade deadline.
In the 2025-26 season, Gafford has played 34 games, averaging 8.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks.
