With the offenses of the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks struggling in Super Bowl LX, kicker Jason Myers is making a strong case for MVP.

As we sit in the third quarter, Myers has accounted for all 12 of the Seahawks' points with four field goals en route to a 12-0 lead for Seattle.

Myers' has made all four of his attempts, with his successful kicks coming from 33, 39, 41 and 41 yards out.

If this keeps up, Myers has a chance to win Super Bowl MVP, ut would he be the first kicker to ever accomplish that feat?

No, a kicker has never won Super Bowl MVP, so Myers would be the first to ever do it if he wins the award following the game.

Myers' biggest threat right now is running back Kenneth Walker, who has been the best offensive player on either side during the contest.

And, at least some of Myers' field goals wouldn't have been possible without Walker's big game, so that could end up being the difference.

However, Myers is one field goal away from breaking the Super Bowl record and that could very well put him over the top.
