The New York Knicks have one of the best groups of players in the league. Most people are aware of Jalen Brunson as the star player, but he has plenty of great teammates, and Josh Hart is one of the standouts.
Hart has always been an awesome teammate, dating back to his days at Villanova. However, he only got better in the NBA, especially when he played a more prominent role with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Hart has continued to grow as a great teammate
Over the years, Hart has been one of the most impressive players on the Knicks roster. He is not the type of player who jumps out of a stat sheet like Brunson, but Hart always finds ways to make an impact.
He is mostly known as the hustle guy, especially with his uncanny rebounding ability. However, the intangibles are what make Hart such a good teammate. He does the little things, as he sets screens, boxes out, dives for loose balls, and so much more.

Dating back to his days with the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans, Hart was always a great teammate to have around. He was not the most impactful player on offense, but he always made noise.
When he got to Portland, that is when something shifted for Hart, as he became a much more active player with or without the ball.
"I think I acquired that in Portland. Mark Tyndale, who's here now, I told him, 'I'm not getting the ball.' We had Dame, Ant, Jerami, we're not saying you can't score, but they can score the ball better," Hart said about his role in Portland that helped him become a better teammate.
"In games like these, that sacrifices me from going out there and being super aggressive. It took a bit of getting used to, but now, I'm in a good headspace."
Nowadays, Hart has become one of the most reliable player son the Knicks. He might not be a shot-creator like Brunson or Karl-Anthony Towns, but he knows his role. That is valuable for Mike Brown in the long-term plans.
