The awareness campaigns motivated parents to encourage their daughters to play cricket, creating healthy competition and bringing more talent into the game. WPL transformed our dressing room mentality completely."Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma was crowned as the Player of the Tournament for her 215 runs and 22 scalps, playing a pivotal role in the hosts lifting their first Women's World Cup title.
