Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya made a heartfelt gesture towards a cameraman during the fifth T20I against South Africa. India won the game by 30 runs and sealed the five-match series 3-1 on Friday, December 19.
During the 13th over of India's batting innings, Hardik Pandya smashed a flat six over long-off. Unfortunately, his terrific shot hit the cameraman's shoulder. The Indian team's physio was out immediately and was seen icing it. After the innings ended, Hardik stepped out of the boundary rope and met the cameraman.
He took a look at the bruise and was seen icing the shoulder as well. The all-rounder even hugged the cameraman, patted him on the back, and once again iced his shoulder before walking back onto the field.
It was a warm gesture from Hardik Pandya, which the cameraman appreciated. He reacted with a thumbs-up and a wide smile.

Hardik played a blistering knock with the bat. He slammed a swashbuckling 25-ball 63 with five boundaries and as many sixes at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 252. His heroics helped India post a massive total of 231/5. They then restricted South Africa to 201/8 to win the game.
He was expensive with the ball but picked up the key wicket of Dewald Brevis and returned figures of 1/41 in three overs. Hardik was awarded 'Player of the Match' as well.
Hardik Pandya smashed the second-fastest fifty by an Indian in T20Is
Hardik Pandya had made his intent clear from the moment he walked out to bat. He began his innings with a six and did not look back. Hardik took the attack mercilessly at the South African bowlers.
He brought up his half-century in just 16 balls, which is the second fastest by an Indian batter in T20Is. Yuvraj Singh had smashed a 12-ball fifty against England during the 2007 T20 World Cup.
Hardik went past Abhishek Sharma, KL Rahul, and Suryakumar Yadav. Abhishek had scored a 17-ball fifty against England in 2025, while Rahul and Suryakumar had scored 18-ball half-centuries against Scotland and South Africa, respectively.
