She’s the apple of their eye.

Apple Martin, 21, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow, 53, and Coldplay singer Chris Martin, 48, surprised a crowd in Nashville when she sang onstage with the band Jade Street.

The video of her performance was posted on TikTok — and the comments were brutal.

“Not her calling,” one wrote, while another said, “The apple does fall far from the tree.”

Another critic said, “Glad everyone was polite…but whose gonna hold her hand.”

“Oh, that’s bad. I hope she can find work elsewhere,” one person quipped.

“Sorry but she needs to leave the singing to her dad,” another said, while another commented, “I sound the same after a few drinks at karaoke.”

Another wrote, “Wow just wow. I’m assuming she has no true friends that will tell her. Baby no don’t do it. This is not ur thing.”

Another viewer said, “I think people should succeed on their merit. That is all,” while another person said, “Nepotism has killed art.”

The performance was at the Cannery Hall venue in the Music City.

Apple is one of two children that Paltrow and Martin share, as her brother, Moses, is 19. The exes were married from 2003 to 2016.

Not all the comments were critical, however. One person remarked, “I really don’t hate it,” while another wrote, “She wasn’t bad yall could chill.”

When she shared the video on her own Instagram, the comments were also more supportive, with fans remarking that she sounded “heavenly” and “amazing.”

The band also shared photos on Instagram after the concert and tagged Apple. The model replied in the comments with three otter emojis.

The performance was part of Apple’s collaboration with the band, as her official music debut with Jade Street’s upcoming song “Satellite,” comes out Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Apple is currently a student at Vanderbilt University.

“I’m a law, history and society major, but I wish I would’ve taken — maybe I’ll take a theater course before I leave,” she told Interview Magazine in an April feature. “It’s a fun balance between my very different extracurriculars and my major.”

Reflecting on her childhood, she also told the outlet, “I grew up with that uneven balance of getting out of the airport with my mom and being bombarded with cameras, and then just being a normal kid.”

She added that she felt like she grew up in a “surveillance state,” which is “really scary and makes me very anxious about making mistakes.”

In a March interview with Vanity Fair, Paltrow said about her kids, “Look, they’re the children of two super-famous people, and so they understand what comes with that. They’ve grown up in it.”

She added, “You would be surprised at how lovely and unassuming and down-to-earth they are.”
