Savannah Guthrie Reveals What She Regrets Asking Khloe Kardashian
Khloe Kardashian isn't keeping a grudge against Savannah Guthrie.
In fact, the Kardashians star called her a "doll" after the Today anchor expressed remorse for leaning into rumors surrounding the identity of Khloe's biological dad during a 2012 interview.
"It takes a big person to take accountability," Khloe wrote on Oct. 21 in the comments of E! News' Kards Katch Up Instagram post about Savannah's apology, "and I just love her!"
And the love goes both ways. After all, Savannah praised the 41-year-old for being a "total class act" for how she handled the surprising question.
"I asked Khloe Kardashian 10 seconds before we were going to break about the rumors that her father wasn’t her father," Savannah recounted to guest Andy Cohen during the Oct. 20 episode of Today. "I was so embarrassed."
Explaining that she had "just started" hosting the morning show at the time, the 53-year-old explained that she felt "all this pressure" to ask the question—even though her jounalist gut was telling her otherwise.
"I felt like the producers wanted me to ask this dishy question," Savannah said, "but I didn't want to."
At the time, Khloe—who faced allegations that she's not the biological child of Robert Kardashian from her late father's ex-wives—brushed off inquiry with a laugh, quipping to Savannah, "I don't know who my daddy is, I guess."

But since then, the Good American co-founder hasn't been shy about clapping back at speculation over her parentage.
"The thing that most became overwhelming was when the stuff happened with one of my dad's wives," Khloé shared during a 2016 episode of her now-defunct talk show Kocktails with Khloe. "She wanted to come out like 10 years later— after my dad passed away—and say that I'm not his daughter and he confided in her."
She added, "I was like, 'Listen, you can talk about me and my sisters all you f--king want, [but] do not talk about my dad.' He's not here!"
