"Good news for their parents!": Perez Hilton reacts after reports suggest Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce are planning "low-key, family-centric" holiday

Pop culture podcaster Perez Hilton reacted to a report discussing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s possible holiday plans for this year. In his recent blog, Hilton discussed an October 29 exclusive report by Us Weekly. An insider reportedly told the outlet that Swift and Kelce would be spending time with family on this holiday without any "major travel."

“It will be very low-key, family-centric and [won’t involve any] major travel,” a source told Us Weekly.

In his blog, Perez Hilton agreed with what the insider told the magazine. He said that since Taylor Swift’s fiancé would be busy playing for the Kansas City Chiefs on both Thanksgiving and Christmas, traveling would be difficult. The blogger expressed happiness for the newly engaged couple's parents.

"But that’s good news for their parents!" Hilton wrote.

The insider told Us Weekly that the NFL star "fits right" with Swift's family and added that Kelce's mother also "adores" Taylor Swift. The source further said that Kelce and Swift "make sure to see both sides" whenever possible. As per the insider, the two "are super family-oriented," which has always been one of the qualities they "loved" about each other.

Perez Hilton gushed over the revelation and imagined the get-together.

"So sweet! We’re sure having some downtime with Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as Scott and Andrea Swift, will be nice. The couple have had a whirlwind few years with their packed schedules, so it’s nice they’ll get to just hole up. We’re sure Jason and Kylie Kelce will be in the middle of everything with all of Trav’s nieces, too!" the blogger wrote.

In the conversation with Us Weekly, the source said that despite their high-profile careers, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce "are really chill."

Hilton concluded his thoughts on Swift and Kelce's reported holiday plan by incorporating a reference from Taylor Swift's new album's track Wi$h Li$t.

"Not to mention warm from all the baking! It really is the simple things, isn’t it? Who needs luxury vacations and 'that spring break that was f**kin’ lit' right?" the blogger wrote.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly plan to start a family "in the next year or so"

In the Wednesday exclusive, Us Weekly reported via a source that Swift and Kelce would probably start a family within a year. In August this year, the two announced their engagement, and since then, both have hinted at their upcoming wedding in several interviews.

"They don’t want a long engagement. [They] very much want to start a family in the next year or so. Family means everything to them," a source told the media outlet.

The report further stated that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were reportedly "looking to exchange vows next summer" in Rhode Island. It highlighted that the two had vacationed at the location last year.

In a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show, the host asked the singer if the next year would be "the wedding year." To which she replied, "Oh, you'll know." When the host further asked if she was in the "middle of planning it."

"No, I just am doing the album thing now, which is a big thing. And then I think the wedding is what happens after that in the scheme of the planning. But I'm really so excited about it," Taylor Swift stated.
