The Golden State Warriors listed just one player on the injury report ahead of their regular-season showdown against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Steph Curry, who made his comeback after missing five contests in the Warriors' previous loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves, is cleared to play once again.

Curry didn't miss a beat despite the brief absence, but his return didn't turn out the way he would have wanted. The two-time league MVP erupted with 39 points, five rebounds and five assists, while shooting 14 of 28 from the floor, including 6 of 15 from deep.

Despite Curry's belligerent performance, the Warriors fell to a 127-120 defeat at home when the Timberwolves were without Anthony Edwards. With Draymond Green and Al Horford out, the Warriors were forced to go with the small lineup. Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert punished Golden State, dropping a game-winning 24-point, 14-rebound performance.

The good news for the Warriors came after Saturday's practice when Green was not listed on the injury report. The veteran big man is cleared to play against the Blazers after missing three games on the trot. His return will provide a huge lift to the Warriors, especially on the defense and playmaking.

Meanwhile, veteran center Al Horford remains sidelined with his sciatic injury, missing his fourth successive game with the same issue. The Warriors currently are eighth in the West with a 13-13 record.
