The Halloween episode of "Dancing With the Stars’" on Tuesday became controversial. Braxton Berrios' girlfriend, Alix Earle’s, stepmother, Ashley Dupré, took a jab at guest judge Cheryl Burke.

It happened after Burke didn't give Earle and her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, a perfect score for their tango performance. Earle and Chmerkovskiy danced to Billie Eilish’s haunting track, “Bury a Friend."

They earned 10s from the other three judges. However, Burke’s nine broke the streak. It did not sit well with Dupré, who was watching at home. After the score was released, Dupré posted a TikTok clip to share her reaction.

Earle joined Season 34 of "Dancing With the Stars" in May.

Her family has a controversial past. Thomas “TJ” Earle’s affair with Dupré more than a decade ago led to his divorce from Alix's mother in 2013.

On the Season 2 premiere of "Hot Mess with Alix Earle" on Sept. 26, the influencer talked openly about her family struggles. She said it took “years of fighting” before making peace with her blended family.

Meanwhile, Burke already addressed speculation about her appearance in May on TikTok. The former DWTS pro shut down rumors about using Ozempic.

“I’m not on Ozempic," Burke said. "I’m not sick. I didn’t get a face transplant, and no, I didn’t get a brow lift. The level of projection that is happening and that I’m witnessing is wild."

She attributed her appearance to emotional and physical transformations.
