It hasn't taken long for New York sports fans to fall in love with Cam Skattebo.
The New York Giants' rookie running back plays with a ferocity and energy that's impossible to dislike, unless you're the opposition.
And with that quick love comes lots of interest in what Skattebo is up to. Fans embrace any chance to follow along with whatever intrigue might come their way with the rookie.
On Wednesday, Skattebo dropped into the picture of two other sports.
The first? Ping pong.
Beat reporter Art Stapleton wrote this on X about Skattebo's style of play:
"Cam Skattebo was playing a game of ping-pong during media availability in the Giants locker room today. Yes, Skattebo plays ping-pong exactly how you think he would play ping-pong. I don’t think the ball has ever been hit harder and with such force. Seriously."
Sounds about right.

Skattebo wasn't done with his busy sports day. In the evening, he pulled up to the New York Knicks' season-opening win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Of course, Skattebo got a nice ovation when he was shown on the video board at Madison Square Garden.
This is awesome: Giants star rookie RB Cam Skattebo got a standing ovation at Madison Square Garden tonight at the Knicks season opener game.

The Giants have a big game this weekend, taking on the Philadelphia Eagles at 1 p.m. on Sunday in Week 8. The divisional clash will surely feature plenty of Skattebo.
If he keeps playing the way he has been, he'll keep being beloved by New York sports fans everywhere.
