The New York Giants are on pace for one of their worst seasons in franchise history as they hold a 2-12 record after losing eight consecutive games after Week 15.
One of the positives from the team's abysmal season is that the NFC East franchise could be landing the No. 1 pick for the 2026 NFL draft. Giants insider Evan Roberts raised questions on rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart's future if New York holds the No. 1 pick heading into next year's NFL draft.
Roberts urged an independent eye to decide on potentially drafting a quarterback that would compete with Dart for the starting role.

Roberts said that if the team drafts a quarterback in next year's draft but fails to deliver for a second consecutive season, the insider wants accountability from the management.
"If you're picking No. 1 overall and your team sucks yet again, everything needs to be on the table, and if everything's on the table, we need independent eyes to make as big a decision as trading the No. 1 overall pick or using it to select a quarterback and moving off of Jaxson Dart. This is one of the biggest decisions a franchise can make, and I need someone else to make the call."Why did you not like this content?
