Giants' Harrison Bader hits Spring Training home run off food truck

Harrison Bader is not known as a home run hitter, but he made an impact swing on Wednesday.

The San Francisco Giants center fielder connected for a homer in the top of the fourth inning in yesterday's 13-12 spring training loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. But this was no regular round-tripper.

Bader dented the top of an acai bowl food truck behind the left field wall.

“This is like prime area, you know?” Cactus Bowls owner Monica Godfrey told MLB.com's Maria Guardado. “But anyway, I will just have a forever dent from the Giants.”

Bader's homer was his first of the spring with the Giants after signing a one-year, $20.05 million deal. He split the 2025 season between the Minnesota Twins and the Philadelphia Phillies, hitting a career high 17 homers.

Bader on dent: 'Sorry'

Following the game, Bader ventured to left field to apologize to Godfrey about the dent, even signing the truck. Underneath his signature, Bader wrote "Sorry" in capital letters.

“It’s just a random funny thing, but I guess it’s a good story,” Bader told Guardado.
