On Friday, clips of the team's starting quarterback, Jaxson Dart, introducing President Donald Trump at a rally went viral on social media. Dart was then greeted by Trump on stage.
On Saturday, the Giants rising star pass rusher, Abdul Carter, then reacted to Dart's appearance on social media, appearing to question his teammate's decision.

Clips of Dart at a recent Trump rally were posted to social media on Friday. After they had already circulated for around a day, Carter reposted one to his X account, adding: “Thought this s— was AI, what we doing man."

"What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here,” Dart said. "I'm grateful, I'm honored, I'm pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump."

Dart introduced Trump at a recent rally in New York, which took place on Friday.
Per The Guardian, the rally was in support of New York Republican congressman Mike Lawler, who is running for reelection. It marked Trump’s first rally in New York since the 2024 election, and it was held at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York.
What did Donald Trump say about Jaxson Dart?
After Dart's introduction, Trump came on the stage and greeted the quarterback with a handshake and a hug. Per The Athletic, Trump also later called Dart a “future Hall of Famer,” saying the quarterback star “has a lot of talent,” “is a beautiful guy,” and has “legs like tree trunks.”
Additionally, Trump continued to call on Dart during his following speech about policies, including about banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports.
“I’m looking at Jaxson,” Trump said, per The Athletic. “I’d like to know, is there any woman in the audience that thinks they can tackle that guy? Because I’d like to meet you. I’d like to shake your hand. I don’t know. Jaxson, you think you can play against women, OK?”
“Don’t get involved, Jaxson,” Trump added, per The Athletic. “Don’t answer that question.”
