Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is one of the greatest NBA players of his generation, but if there's an area of weakness in his game, it would be his shooting. Antetokounmpo has never shot the ball particularly well, which led him to make an eye-opening admission regarding Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.
Like Antetokounmpo, Curry is one of the greatest players of this era, but he managed to make a name for himself thanks to his remarkable shooting from behind the arc. Curry single-handedly revolutionized the game of basketball, as three-point shots are taken nearly as frequently as two-point shots in the NBA right now.
Curry's standing among the all-time greats of the game has been a divisive subject, but it's clear that, at the very least, he's the greatest shooter of all-time. That was something Antetokounmpo was willing to concede when discussing Curry, although he does put his teammate, Damian Lillard, in the same category as him.
"Him and Dame greatest shooters of all time," Antetokounmpo said when asked for his thoughts on Curry.

— Giannis Antetokounmpo (@Giannis_An34) May 18, 2025With the 2024-25 regular season in the books, Curry is the all-time leader in three-pointers made with 4,058, which is nearly 1,000 more than the next closest player, which is James Harden with 3,175 made threes. Add in the fact that Curry is a 42.3% shooter from behind the arc, and it only makes his play more impressive.
While Antetokounmpo likely had fun hosting a Q&A on X amid trade rumors swirling around him, it's clear this is an extremely important offseason for him and the Bucks. The two sides will reportedly meet this week to discuss his future, and it could ultimately determine whether or not he gets traded during the next few months.
