On Thursday, December 25, BTS's Taehyung kickstarted a voice-only Weverse livestream, where he answered several questions from ARMYs while also updating fans about his recent activities. One such query from a fan was about his workout routine and his current progression with the same. The idol revealed that he had paused exercising for over 1.5 months due to his right shoulder injury.

He continued to explain that the idol began to face issues with his right shoulder quite some time back in 2019, during the Dionysus performances. Fans noticed that it might be due to a specific step in the choreography where Taehyung would have to somersault over a bench using his right shoulder. Back then, too, the idol expressed that the choreography took quite a toll on him, leaving him in immense pain, but he had to continue performing due to the promotions.

As he talked about the same in the recent livestream, he stated the injury worsened during his military service since he often tried to push himself with the training and the workouts. Therefore, his body is currently in a state that requires rehab to recover from the injury. He also said that as he's getting older, his body tends to take more time to regain the stamina and rebuild his body. Here's what the idol stated during his Weverse voice-only livestream:

"’ve had some issues with my right shoulder. It wasn’t in the best condition to begin with. Maybe it started getting a bit worse around the time of Dionysus. And while I was in the military, I put my whole heart into everything and really pushed myself and gave it my all."

He continued,

"I worked hard, but because of that… I need rehab now. We don’t really talk about things like this, but my stamina recovers a lot more slowly these days compared to my twenties. I’m sure there are people here who can relate to and understand exactly what that feels like."

Following the same, fans and netizens naturally grew concerned over the idol's health. While many were aware of the injury back in 2019, they were saddened to realize that the injury left a long-term effect on the idol, and they hoped for his speedy recovery. Soon, as a sign of support, people began to trend the keywords "GET WELL SOON TAEHYUNG" on X with positive and heartwarming messages for the BTS idol. Here are a few fan reactions regarding the same:

The fact that he still didn't let that stop him from working out and performing with excellence in military. He's really the strongest, I hope he recovers soon🥹❤️‍🩹

BTS's Taehyung updates on attending Brown Eyed Soul concert, Christmas plans, and more during recent Weverse livestreams

Taehyung started by explaining that on December 24, he and some of his friends went to the Brown Eyes Soul concert in Seoul, and continued to go to a Karaoke bar to spend more time. Later, the friends came over to the idol's home, where they ordered Korean Fried Chicken and played some games to spend Christmas Eve together.

He also revealed that he listens to one song every Christmas evening or Christmas Eve, and also recommended the song to ARMYs. The song is Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence. Additionally, when fans asked him to come on camera, he expressed that he has to cover up and is too lazy to do so. Since he wanted to spend some time with ARMYs on Christmas, he kick-started a voice-only livestream.

On the other hand, the idol explained that his Christmas plans were quite simple, where he just played games with his friends, stayed indoors, and rested. His bandmate, BTS' Jin, also briefly joined the livestream through the comments section, where he wished Taehyung and ARMYs a Merry Christmas and soon left.
