1) New characters

Two new characters, Durin and Jahoda, will join with the Genshin Impact Luna III update. Both of them will be available when the version releases on December 3, 2025, as part of the first phase event wishes.

New Weapons

The following new weapons will become available, as was announced during the Genshin Impact Luna III livestream:

• Athame Artis (5-star sword, BiS for Durin)
• The Daybreak Chronicles (5-star bow, BiS for Venti)
• Rainbow Serpent's Rain Bow (4-star bow)

Story quest

Two new archon quests, A Nocturne of the Far North (Act V) and Melting Moonlight in the Morning Mist (Act VI), will be available with the update. With the threat of the Racher of Solnari vanquished after an arduous trial, the traveler and Paimon will find themselves enjoying the festival in Nod-Krai.

As the Genshin Impact Luna III livestream showcased, you will meet many new and familiar faces. Completing the quest by a given time will give you 500 extra Primogems in Genshin Impact.

Durin's companion quest, Draco Rubedo Chapter 1, will also become available. You can obtain extra rewards by completing this quest by a certain date.
