New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson sustained a knee injury in the team's Week 10 win over the Cleveland Browns. He left Sunday's game without a catch and was unable to return.

Wilson's injury is expected to keep him out of action for several weeks. He will be unavailable for the Jets' matchup with the New England Patriots on Thursday, depleting an already limited receiving depth chart.

Wilson will miss "a couple of weeks" after an MRI showed that he hyperextended his knee, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. There's also been talks about New York shutting him down for the rest of the season. The team only a small chance of making the playoffs.

The wideout's return date has not been revealed. Jets coach Aaron Glenn declined to address the issue when asked by reporters on Tuesday.
