Game 1 tickets of NBA Eastern/Western Conference Finals: Wild price difference

4 hours ago 1

Four teams remain, and the Eastern and Western Conference Finals matchups are officially set.

The Knicks will take on the Pacers in the East while the Thunder will match up with the Timberwolves.

Fans looking to watch the game better hope they have a TV or streaming device to watch on because, for a certain team, it is going to cost a lot of money to see the game in person.

How much will it cost to attend Game 1 of each series?

The price difference is very visible between the two Game 1 venues.

Now, it isn't a huge shocker that the Knicks, being in New York, are a more expensive ticket, but the amount for a single ticket is remarkable.

A family of four could all attend Game 1 of Thunder vs. Timberwolves, while that cost would only be enough for one ticket at Game 1 of Knicks vs. Pacers.

$671 can be put towards a new phone, part of rent for a month (maybe not in NYC), groceries, the internet bill, subscriptions, etc.

It's almost gotten to a point that the average person will never have the chance to see their favorite team in person with prices continuing to rise.

The Thunder/Timberwolves series should provide fans with just as good basketball, as young superstar Anthony Edwards, and Julius Randle will take on a team with MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for a chance to reach the NBA Finals for the first time in their careers.

We have seen what both players can do on the big stage, and there's no reason that it should be significantly lower than the price of a Knicks/Pacers ticket.

Brunson and Towns have been playing very well recently, which should set up a good series against a Pacers team that's beaten two quality teams this postseason already.
