Lakers coach JJ Redick stormed out of his post game media availability after the team's brutal 122-102 loss against the shorthanded Hawks on Saturday. Atlanta was without four starters, including Trae Young, his replacement Nickeil Walker-Alexander, Jalen Johnson and Kristaps Porzingis.
While LA missed Austin Reaves, LeBron James and Gabe Vincent, Luka Doncic and other key rotation players were still available. The group's effort on the first night of a five-game road trip was questionable from the get-go.
Redick seemingly looked furious with how things played out, and he didn't mince words in front of reporters after the game. After one of them asked how long into the third did Redick realize the game was out of LA's reach, he said he had figured that in the first two minutes.

When asked what he saw during that stretch, he replied:
"Nothing."Redick's session lasted a minute and a half before he walked out.
JJ Redick said he isn't planning on ignoring this game and intends to look at it in the locker room.
His frustrations stemmed from the fact that the Lakers had outplayed their opponents during their five-game winning streak leading up to this clash due to their intensity. On Saturday, LA did little to match up to the desperate Hawks, who played out of their skins to get the win.
