Fortnite NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup: Start date, how to participate, and rewards

The first-ever Fortnite NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup has recently been announced, and it rewards the top players with much more than just a cosmetic item. Epic Games has teamed up with NVIDIA to give away multiple Fortnite-themed RTX 5080 across all server regions. The best part is that players from all regions and ranks can participate in it.

The Fortnite NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup will take place on December 21, 2025, and the exact start time depends on the region. It's a solo tournament that will be played in build mode on the Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Royale map.

How to participate

Participating in the Fortnite NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup is straightforward and follows the standard Fortnite open tournaments process:

• Launch Fortnite and go to the Compete tab.
• Search for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX Cup banner.
• Click the banner and note all the details, including the start time.
• Launch the game during the start time and select the tournament just like any other game mode.

All the players will get a three hour window to play up to 10 matches. While players from all ranks and regions are eligible, there are a few requirements:

• The player must have two-factor authentication enabled.
• The player should not have a Cabined Epic Games Account.
• The Epic Games Account Level should be at least 350.

Rewards

The tournament not only has custom MSI Gaming Trio White GeForce RTX 5080 on the line, but over $100,000 in cash prizes as well. Here are the prizes and the required placement in each region:
