Fortnite Chapter 7 leaks hints at the return of Crafting, Sky Jellies, and more

According to the latest Fortnite Chapter 7 leaks, it would appear that the next major phase of the storyline is going to be a throwback in many ways. Based on information shared by leakers/data-miners such as Egyptian_Leaker and Loolo_WRLD, many items and mechanics from the past will be integrated into Chapter 7.

With the Simpsons Season still in play, there's still some time left for the current phase of the storyline. However, given that we know about upcoming Boons, Biomes, and the return of The Seven, Chapter 7 is going to be interesting to say the least. That being said, here's the latest scope.

Fortnite Chapter 7 leaks shed light on returning mechanics and items

Based on the Fortnite Chapter 7 leaks on hand, the next major phase of the storyline could potentially feature two returning mechanics, namely Crafting and Sky Jellies. Crafting was first introduced in Chapter 2 Season 6 (Primal), and allowed players to craft and upgrade weapons. It was a great mechanic, but never really caught on and was removed thereafter.

Sky Jellies were much more appreciated by the larger community. Players could interact with them to gain Health/Shields. Despite being termed as wildlife, given how they functioned, they were often considered as an interactive mechanic. They could be found all over the island in Chapter 4 Season 1 until the first major update of Chapter 4 Season 3 (v25.10). They could also be linked to the rumor SpongeBob SquarePants collaboration.

Moving on to items that are set to make a comeback, there are quite a few on the list based on Fortnite Chapter 7 leaks. Some of them are from past Chapters/Seasons, while others are more specific to Winterfest. Here is the list:

• Shield Keg
• Pizza Party
• Med Mist Grenades
• Icy Feet
• Blizzard Grenades
• Holiday Presents

These items will be a part of the loot pool alongside seasonal loot, which again, will rotate based on each phase of the storyline. However, it can be said with certainty that Icy Feet, Blizzard Grenades, and Holiday Presents will be part of Winterfest as is the norm.
