A former WWE star made a shocking claim about Triple H. He was released from his contract with the Stamford-based wrestling promotion in 2009.

Former one-time WWE United States Champion Mr. Kennedy recently spoke to Shane Douglas in an interview. During the conversation, the 49-year-old shed light on his time in the global juggernaut.

The 2007 Money in the Bank winner stated that SmackDown had a supportive backstage environment. He claimed that several top stars would often help him learn after his matches. He added that the same was not the case on the RAW roster, which was way more competitive.

"Kane, Undertaker, Batista, Finley, Booker T, Rey Mysterio were all at the top of the mountain, and they were throwing rope ladders over the side. Every single one of those guys would pull me aside after I'd come back from my match and help me. On the RAW side, guys were dumping buckets of hot oil over the side and kicking boulders down and stuff," Kennedy said.

Mr. Kennedy added that he had no issues with anyone until he wrestled Triple H at a house show. The veteran claimed that the match had a massive negative impact on his WWE career. The former two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion said that he had a great time in the promotion initially, but the last year and a half was "miserable."

"I had no problems with all these guys, and then suddenly I worked Triple H on a house show. It was like I went from being able to work to being too stiff and being too clunky and difficult to work with. It was really weird and frustrating. Everything was awesome when I was first there, but the last year and a half was miserable for me," Kennedy added. [H/T: Fightful]

Another former WWE Superstar recently made a surprising claim about Triple H

The issues between Triple H and former WWE Superstar MVP are no secret. Montel Vontavious Porter has, at times, openly voiced his frustration over booking decisions related to him and The Hurt Business.

In a recent interview with Q101's Case Lowe, MVP explained how his current boss, Tony Khan, was different from Triple H. The veteran claimed that while Khan welcomed input from all the performers involved, Hunter did so only in the case of a few selected stars.

The 52-year-old further claimed that Tony Khan was a better human being overall, which made him a lot easier to work with. MVP also noted that he was grateful to the AEW President for the reunion of The Hurt Business (aka The Hurt Syndicate).
