A former WWE superstar and her tag partner seemingly walked out of AEW Collision after refusing to lose their match on the show, as per a breaking report. The star in question, Nixon Newell, made her debut for the Tony Khan-led promotion late last month.

In November last year, The Girl with The Shiniest Wizard was released by WWE, where she used to perform as Tegan Nox. Following the end of her second run in the sports entertainment juggernaut, Nixon returned to competition on the independent circuit, wrestling in promotions such as ATTACK! Pro Wrestling, Hurricane Pro, Beyond Wrestling and MPX. On the October 25 edition of Collision, Newell, alongside her partner and teammate Miranda Alize, made her AEW debut, confronting Anna Jay and Tay Melo during their backstage interview.

A few days later on Fright Night Collision (which aired on November 1), Nixon and Miranda made their in-ring debut for the company in a losing effort against Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne, participants of the ongoing Women's Tag Team Title Tournament. The duo were seemingly set to compete in their second match in the promotion this weekend on AEW Collision, where they were supposed to face TayJay. However, a report from PWInsider has now shockingly claimed that Newell and Alize walked out of the show's tapings "an hour before belltime" because they did not want to put over Tay Melo and Anna Jay, supposedly because they had already lost their first All Elite Wrestling match to The Megasus and The Problem.

Owing to their refusal to lose, Nixon and Miranda were replaced on Collision by Hyan and Maya World, who were beaten by TayJay in just under two minutes.
